Living. Breathing. Modern Meditations 

Modern Meditations are a channel into your consciousness.  I literally embody that channel - leading by inspiring you into the magic, and inviting you into the sensuous heart energy perspective.

On the third Sunday of each month I offer In-Person Modern Meditation Groups, in three categories.

  • If you're curious about meditating and want to learn how to make and sustain an energetic connection, then join the 1-hour beginner class from 12 - 1 PM. $30
  • If you have some Modern Meditation experience and desire more in order to develop range and depth, then join the 2-hour practice class from 1:30-3:30 PM. $55
  • If you have some Modern Meditation experience and want to focus your meditation on a particular theme, join the 2-hour themed class from 4-6 PM. $55

Professional Training

If you are sincerely interested in training to become a past life regression therapist, or in adding this therapeutic component to your current professional practice, I offer a comprehensive, advanced program of instruction and study that represents 28 hours of training and guidance over 2 weekends. This program is designed and best suited for counsellors, therapists, mental health professionals, life coaches and other health practitioners currently working within a holistic healing modality. The training is devoted to instructional foundation building, focusing on practice training and detailed analysis, which fine-tunes and complements the students' natural style and developing skill set.

The next training is scheduled for April/May 2010 and includes Accessing & Working with Subconscious States of Awareness for the Purpose of Conducting Past-Life Regression Therapy, In-Between Lifetimes, Future Life Progression, and an intense Regression & Progression Practicum.

 My approach to teaching meditation is unique and highly powerful. Rather than treat meditation as an ancient exercise, I integrate it with contemporary living. Our connection to the divine essence within ourselves is inherent throughout time, but our ways of making that contact that connection can be better learnt and performed to suit our contemporary abilities. This vastly improves our ability to cultivate its deep and enriching intelligence in these times. Modern Meditations offer a better alignment with who we are as modern human beings. We live in a time when our world is face-paced and highly stimulating. Our minds are expanding or shrinking at an incredible rate and our emotions and bodies too.  Modern Meditations address this pace and rhythm by complementing it, to meet you and befriend you where you are now so we can take you to another level of desired experience.

You’ll master the essentials, such as learning how to work WITH your busy mind.  We’ll modernize the normally rigorous principles of ancient meditation, so you can experience the intimate depth of yourself you may never have known existed. You’ll design your life authentically from a place of compassion and courage.  Through that clarity, you’ll experience the very best of yourself, and you’ll bring that amazing person out into the world. 
 
Modern Meditations are the positive practice of connecting to the deepest states of love and wholeness as a life-changing force. When we are in our conscious, awakened mind we cannot fully experience ourselves and others. Only in the meditative state of expanded consciousness can we finally and actually experience ourselves and everything else.

As an expert in the field of consciousness studies, I know that our karmic and conditioned patterns may block us from this glorious state of being. Yet within the energy we refer to as our heart - our spirit - there is an infinite source of supreme intelligence. This energy can be tapped into and circulated through the levels of our human experiences - from difficult emotions to physical pain, from limited perspective to stress. The results are like unlocking an amazing healing resource. Healing by awakening a deeper level of mindfulness, compassion and choice.

Modern Meditations initiate this process through a progressive series of fresh and penetrating sensory meditation experiences as a channeled awareness of expanded states of consciousness. We begin by calming and clarifying the mind to allow the loving, intelligent heart to be experienced.  We connect to this zone by trusting that it is safe to drop one’s protective guard and enter into a beautifully vulnerable, dynamic and nourishing state. In a non-competitive, nurturing environment, participants develop expanded sense perception, concept innovation, a greater and easier clarity and focus, more noticeable and spontaneous flow of creativity, inspiration, insight and intuition, an expanded, holistic awareness and sense of connectedness with themselves and the world and new ways of looking at and living life as exciting and transformative. Modern Meditations promote physical, emotional and mental health by unifying the many related functions of mind and body, such as heart rate, blood pressure, metabolic rates, cholesterol and hormone levels and sexual function. In doing so, it shifts the way we think, feel, work and connect with ourselves and others. As the experience of meditation begins to flow into our practical world, it brings a mental focus and inner calm to any situation we may encounter.  By learning to apply our attention through meditation practice, we can harness the full potential of our mind and spirit, and use it to enrich every dimension of our lives. 

There is always an opportunity to ask questions and receive immediate coaching in every workshop, for Modern Meditations work specifically with an individual’s internal guidance systems, to activate and integrate successful experiences. The collective experience of a Modern Meditation circle energetically supports and expands each participants personal abilities and range. Within the trusting environment, limitations seem to melt as new horizons are explored. This in turn enhances one’s personal home meditation experience as new vistas continue to open up. Modern Meditations are intended to become the tools for a lifetime.
