We've invited some of our region's leading health professionals, representing western, complementary and alternative therapies, to form the Capers Integrated Health Network. This special advisory panel will bring the latest research and opinions to all our health and wellness initiatives, and will be guided by the experienced hand of Capers nutritionist Victoria Pawlowski. We believe this unique collaboration between like-minded practitioners has the potential to make a difference in all our lives by nurturing a new vision of integrated nutrition and health education."

Menopausal Cafe - May 30th, 7PM - 9:30 PM
Menopausal Sexiness
Is menopausal sexiness an oxymoron or a passionate truth? Each woman has the power to decide and choose for herself. For some, the onset of menopause may signal them to close down and withdraw their beautiful sexual energy. For others, it's a time to reassess who they are and what they chose to do with their unique and creative sexuality. This important stage of a woman's life is gifting them with an opportunity to recognize that their sexuality deserves fresh awareness, recognition and attention.
Your sexual energy is a natural vibration within you. It exists to give you even more energy, because the process of awakening it and allowing it to develop is vital and invigorating. During menopause, it lies quietly within you, either waiting for its time to be acknowledged and its moment to be savoured, or rumbling noisily inside you, waiting for its real worth to be experienced and expressed. Either way, it's alive and well - no matter what your stage or age.
Your sexual energy is established in every cell of your being and serves to bring out your most exquisitely authentic expression. The art of your menopausal sexuality can become a living, breathing, skin-to-skin meditation of wellness that recharges your battery by reconnecting you to the vital source of your passionate energy. You may choose to listen very quietly for that shy but beautiful energy within and allow it to grow louder and braver and deeper. All it takes is time, consistent focus, and quality self-care.

Modern Meditations
Modern Meditations at the Spiritual Centre for Dynamic Living
Q: What are the benefits of meditating in a group?
A: The same kind of benefits one might expect when participating in a think-tank - the sum of the whole is greater than the individual parts. The collective experience energetically supports and expands each members personal abilities and range. Within the trusting environment, limitations seem to melt as new horizons are explored. This in turn enhances one's personal home meditation experience as new vistas continue to open up.
On Sunday, August 27th I joined the beautiful group of souls at the Spiritual Centre for Dynamic Living and led them through three modern meditations. I'm still oozing with the collective love…
